a ghost pours its smoke out
softly biting the lips of a lover,
with breath that warms,
air that rushes and hums
voices of those embedded in time past,
whispers of embodiment entwining a swelling mass of tissue.
Collaging is a vital part of Alexandrina Hemsley's creative practice. This latest series started in February 2022 and included printing onto silk fabric. The collage hangings have been exhibited at Gathering In A Better World, Festival Theaterformen July 2022
